Transforming a Cold Conservatory into a Year-Round Orangery

Our clients had an outdated conservatory that was uncomfortably hot in summer and too cold in winter, making it impractical for everyday use. Surrey Orangery was brought in to transform this space into a beautiful, energy-efficient orangery that could be enjoyed year-round.

• Constructed the new orangery to meet the latest building regulations, incorporating advanced PIR insulation throughout the floor, walls, and roof to optimise energy efficiency.
• Installed smart, energy-efficient lighting, enabling the clients to set the perfect ambiance while keeping utility costs down.
• Integrated water underfloor heating with smart controls, providing consistent warmth in winter and ensuring a comfortable environment all year.
• Completed a full-width structural knockthrough to seamlessly connect the orangery with the main home, enhancing flow and accessibility.
• Interior and Exterior Finishes:
• Installed a fully fitted, modern kitchen that balances functionality with style.
• Laid a durable, elegant tiled floor, ideal for everyday use.
• Added custom sandstone architectural stone copings for a refined, high-end finish.
• Extended the living space outdoors with a new patio area, ideal for entertaining and relaxation.
