Surrey Orangery was commissioned to design and construct a Bespoke Orangery with a dedicated boot room and a new porch area for a returning client in Farnham. Having previously built a beautiful rear orangery for the property two years ago, we were thrilled to continue enhancing their home with this latest addition.

Our involvement included securing full planning approval, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and delivering a stylish, functional, and high-quality orangery tailored to the family’s needs.

Design & Planning

As returning clients, the homeowners had full confidence in our expertise. We worked closely with them to ensure the new front orangery complimented both the existing property and the rear orangery we previously installed. The design was focused on enhancing natural light, improving energy efficiency, and adding practical everyday living space.

• Electric Underfloor Heating: A sleek and energy-efficient heating solution providing comfortable warmth throughout the orangery.
• UPVC Windows & Bi-Fold Doors: High-performance glazing enhances insulation while the bi-fold doors create a seamless connection to the garden.
• Aluminium Front Door with Full-Height Side Lights: A striking, modern entrance featuring full-height glass panels that maximize natural light while offering security and style.
• New Porch Area: Designed to keep guests and residents dry, the porch provides added protection from the elements, making the entrance more welcoming and functional.
• Boot Room Integration: Understanding the client’s need for practical storage, we strategically sectioned off part of the new orangery to create a dedicated boot room, offering ample space for coats, shoes, and outdoor essentials—perfect for an active family.

Outcome

The completed front orangery and porch have not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the home but also significantly improved its functionality. The dedicated boot room has proven to be an invaluable addition, keeping the home organized while maintaining a sleek and clutter-free living space.

With this being our second orangery project for the same client, it was rewarding to see how both installations now work together to elevate the home’s overall design.
